The building is unique. It was Tel Aviv's first shopping mall and
houses the city's first elevator (not in use). There have been a
number of movies filmed in the building due to its unique appearance.
The neighborhood is perfect. An 8-minute walk to the beach, a
7-minute walk to The Carmel Market, a 5-minute walk to Levinsky
market, a 15-minute walk to the central bus station, all major bus
lines are within 3 blocks of the building, Florentine is 2 blocks the
left, Neve Tzedek is one block away, and Rothchild blvd. is a block
away. Restaurants, bars, and banks surround the place.
Our apartment has high ceilings and windows on 3 sides of the place,
making extremely pleasant cross-ventilation in the hotter months. The
courtyard lends itself to making the building feel more like a
community. Everyone is extremely friendly.
The apartment has 3 rooms with doors that close. There is also a cozy
living room that overlooks the courtyard. The largest room was
converted into our studio where we did massage, pilates, yoga and
meditation. The home has so much positive energy and love, we are sad
to leave it, but we hope someone who can appreciate the space will
take it.
The only "catch" to the apartment, is that we are asking for 3,000
shekels. That money includes a brand new air conditioner, a
double-sized bed, a refrigerator, washing machine, and all of teh
shelving, flooring, and additions we have added to the apartment.
We will have an open house on Friday, November 20th from 12:00-15:00.
